Thermoforming

Thermoforming refers to the thermal and pressure forming of film packaging. It is a technological process in which packaging of specific shapes is formed from rigid films, preheated to a certain temperature close to the softening temperature (typical for a given material). It is a relatively simple, cheap, and highly efficient form of processing, which makes thermoforming a very popular solution among customers.

The Plast-Box Group is capable of delivering very large orders overnight: 70, 100, or even 500 thousand pieces, depending on the available range of products. Packaging that is manufactured using this technology is cheaper than using injection moulding. Thermoforming allows the production of different materials, such as: polystyrene, PET, or polypropylene. Such packaging is recyclable.
