The impact of market forces on the development of the packaging company. Polish-Ukrainian experience

A small private company, founded in 1983, has developed to the level of leading manufacturer of the plastic containers with plants in Poland and Ukraine. Andrzej Sadowski, Director of Sales and Marketing at Plast-Box SA told us about the factors that led to the successful development of the company.

Tell us how was politics of customers’ service formed?

Andrzej Sadowski: Politics of customers’ service has been changed throughout the development of company. After all, the demands of the market cause the principles of communication and become stimuli for technical and technological modernization. For example, at the beginning of our work we mostly produced packaging for the chemical industry, and we worked primarily on the Polish market. At that time the circumstances demanded from us specific packaging solutions. Since 2002, the company has been actively developing the export directions. At the same time we started analyzing the possibility of expanding the product range through the production of containers for the food market.
